- Topic 1: I only had 365 days to plan, that wasn’t enough!
- We see the same posts every holiday. I can’t buy gifts, I didn’t buy a turkey, who has a spare can of bullshit, does the Army give out gifts? YOU HAD TIME!!!!
- Are there any side hustles for extra cash? Influx of Door Dashers means little to no runs for the millions signing up, and I still have to wait an hour for my cigarette smelling fries!
- I don’t have any gifts. People try to offer items, and they only want money.
- (Segue to Topic 2) If they do manage to scrounge up something at the last second or get a sucker to cave in, nothing is open….. Why? Cuz crazy thought, people wanna spend the holidays with their families!
- Topic 2: When you want the day off, but everyone else to work!
- Everyone assumes that the Army is like most jobs. No matter what, America is just supposed to close the 24th- 25th. Does not work like that.
- Parents and spouses try to get their kids/ spouses out of AIT like they are signing them out of elementary school.
- Leave does not get approved the day before, but somehow it is everyone else’s fault.
- They think that CQ does not exist on Christmas.
- Hours for businesses/ gates are posted everywhere, but will still post questions a million times asking/ bitching about hours.
- Mad because Walmart or Starbucks isn’t open on Christmas morning. Obviously these employees should not have families lol.
