Erin Looks like a great idea right? Who does not deep down love some kind of cheeto product? Went to Walmart, cruising through aisles, spotted this new spicy looking product. Cheeto Maccaroni and Cheese Spirals.
Like a good mom, I occasionally try to buy a cool new item to spice up my cabinets, especially for my kiddos. This product seemed perfect. My kids love cheetos. My kids love mac and cheese. Even my husband thought it looked great. It was far from that. Here were the responses:
My husband ” This tastes like absolute crap.”
My teen “What is this and why did you make it?”
My 8 ASD son “Why does it look so weird?”
My toddler “It tastes like cheesy poofs! This is awesome!”
If you are a parent concerned with dyes for dietary or special needs, I in no way recommend this product as it has now left an orange tint to my pot! Not to mention the size of the box is not a great judge as to the contents. It is the size of two Kraft boxes, but only has a third of the amount once cooked.
This product definitely gets a mommy thumbs down! Then again this is simply my family’s opinion. Try it and drop me a comment on your opinion!
